What we do

Support for Early Learning and Families serves the children and families of Southwest Washington through advocacy and partnerships at the local and state levels to provide quality child care and early learning opportunities for all. We’ve done this work since 2001, and will continue in order to ensure every child in our community thrives.

Support for Early Learning & Families is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings together all of the sectors that touch early childhood in Southwest Washington. The organization also is the hiring agency for Educational Service District 112’s child care centers. SELF is an advocate for early childhood issues with local and state lawmakers and an innovator in finding better ways to serve children and families.
