It can take up to 12 weeks from the time of enrollment until the first book is received.

For example:

• Children added between February 2nd - March 1st 5:00 PM (Eastern) will receive books in April.
• Children added between March 2nd - April 1st 5:00 PM (Eastern) will receive books in May.

The first book every child receives is the Little Engine That Could.  Dolly Parton loves the message of this book, you can reach your dreams and never give up.

After a child receives the first book, they will then receive an age-appropriate book every month.  The last book they receive is a book about preparing for Kindergarten.

Books will arrive at different times. The books are mailed at bulk non-profit rates. They will often arrive on different days or weeks for multiple children in one home.

When you register your child you will receive a confirmation email from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  It is important that you follow the instruction to create an account.  When you create a login and password  you can update and review your child’s profile at any time.

Suggestions for asking questions:  We have thousands of children in our community registered for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  When asking a question please include your child’s first and last name and date of birth.
